A member of Animal Care Center of Plainfield EMERGENCY’s team, Dr. McNeal has practiced emergency medicine since 2004. She enjoys the full spectrum of emergency veterinary care with emerging interests in canine rehabilitation and geriatric care. A 2002 graduate of the Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health, Dr. McNeal spent one year in a small animal rotating internship at Florida Veterinary Specialists in Tampa, where she focused on internal medicine, surgery, and critical care.
In her spare time, Dr. McNeal has performed wellness care and spay/neuter volunteer work with the Animal Care League in her hometown of Oak Park. She enjoys cooking, dancing, and spending time with family, and is also a lifelong fan of WWE. She shares her home with several furry, feathered, and shelled “children,” including one dog, Ophelia Rose; two cats, Truman Hightower and Sullivan Charles; one Cockatiel, Theodora; one leopard tortoise, Stokely; and four guinea pigs.
